Imagine a nurse, a doctor, a therapist, a surgeon, or someone saying this to you. I read this and realized that it’s really a beautiful thing what these people do for others. How much of their lives they devote to learning and striving extra hard to be someone who saves another. How much sleep, or lack of, they get because of studying to get where they’re at. How much time and money they spent on med school. How much compassion they put into the core of their hearts to put another persons life before their own. It’s beautiful. It really is. And I can’t wait ‘til I get the chance to say this to a patient.
